First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Prosperous and Happy Chinese New Year! :)
This long weekend has been a blast so far. Haha!
Friday after school, my Filipino friends and I went out for dinner at Fish and Co. Glasshouse! Haha. The food was great. :)
Saturday was supposed to be for Pinoy Games (the annual Filipino Games Day for Filipino ASEAN scholars who came here since Sec 3) but I woke up late as I was really tired. In the afternoon, I had an impromptu meeting with Jason as I accompanied him to buy the watch he wanted. Too bad he was not able to find the one he liked, but we walked around Orchard, ate, talked and just basically walked around (and he shopped) before I met Ivan, Dhana and the rest for clubbing. Hehe.
Sunday evening was Chinese New Year Eve Reunion Dinner at Shin's house. It was real nice of her parents to invite me over and it was indeed quite the experience. After that, I met the other Filipino NUS peeps for KTV! Haha. We were singing until morning. It was really fun! :)
Chinese New Year Day 1 (Monday) evening was spent at Shin's house again! Haha. House visit! :P Naren, Terence, Wei Ting, Jasmeet, Alicia Khong, Wei Yann, Keith, Ivan (Shin's friend), Kah Kit and Nigel were there too! Haha. It was fun playing games and drinking. And this is where the main part of this blog post comes.
I guess I would say that I got drunk last night.
Yes, you heard that I right - I got drunk. =X
I thought I was only tipsy but when I was on the bus home just now, I realised I cannot remember certain things that I did. =S
Before we left Shin's place, I remember helping Ivan to clear up the stuff outside the house. After that, we left. But the thing is,
1) I cannot remember how I managed to put on my shoes.
2) I think I sent Ivan, Nigel and Kah Kit to the bus stop but I cannot really remember if I did.
What I remember is that I was walking to Tanah Merah MRT station to try to catch my last train. (I wonder how I did that too =X)
When I reached, I remember hearing that there was no more train service to Boon Lay. So I automatically withdrew money from the ATM. And I cannot remember how I managed to withdraw money but I did. I even have the receipt nicely folded in my wallet (I checked just now =X).
What I remember next is that I reached the taxi stand and waited for the cab. When I got into the cab, I remember saying 'Mohamed Sultan Road, Double O'. And then everything's rather in a blur. =X
1) I don't really remember much of the cab ride to Dbl O.
2) I don't know whether I was imagining things but what I can roughly remember was asking the cab driver to stop at the side nearer to the entrance of O bar.
3) This one's the best. I actually don't remember paying the cab driver the taxi fare. =S
I mean, I am sure I did pay him since he let me out of the cab but I really cannot remember doing so. I am also not sure how much I paid. =X
After that, the only thing I remember was queuing for O bar. I know I was the only one queuing that time. Haha. I also think that the guy did not even check my IC. But this time, I do remember paying for the cover charge. LOL.
Once I managed to meet the rest of them (Muriel, Kuya Paul, Michael, Joseph, Anna and Korina) inside, we danced the night away. And it was really hardcore. Haha. I guess the dancing helped in making me more sober. :P
So yeah. It was indeed an experience. Which I hope does not happen again because it is rather freaky. =X I am just glad that I managed to reach home safely. :)
