boracay trip :)

Hey hey hey! Haha.

It's been a while. I have been very very lazy to update. It has been almost 2 weeks since I've been back home and I haven't exactly done much except slack, sleep, eat and become fat. LOL.

Anyway, the most exciting thing I've done so far since I came back was my Boracay Trip last week! =) Boracay is one of the most famous (if not THE most famous) island resorts in the Philippines. It was a rather unplanned but it was great! Haha.

On 8 Dec, my 2nd sister came home after work telling us that she was asked by her company to be a reliever at their Boracay branch. Since her boyfriend can't accompany her due to work, she asked me to book plane tickets for the trip! Whee! Haha. But it was rather rushed because we had to fly to Boracay on 10 Dec! So we were busy looking for available plane tickets. The next day, I was busy booking plane tickets for the trip and then packed for the early morning flight.

Day 1

I didn't sleep that night because we had to leave the house at 2am so that we'll reach the airport in Manila by around 4am. My sister's flight was at NAIA Terminal 3 while mine was at the domestic airport. It was my first time taking a domestic flight and it was real short! It was around 45 minutes. There were only 7 of us in the plane and 1 flight attendant. LOL

I reached the Caticlan Airport earlier than my sister (as she took a different flight) so I waited for her. Took a tricycle (local transport) ride to the port, a short 10-15 minute motor boat ride to Boracay island and voila! We have reached. :)

After checking into the hotel (which was not bad because the room was quite nice and was near the beach), my sister had to report for work while I was left in the room. I was watching TV until I fell asleep for a short while. Haha. She then smsed me to meet her up for lunch. :)

After that, I went for Hair Braiding! Haha. It was for only S$5. No chemicals but it was good! I liked it! Haha. I then went back to the hotel room, changed to shorts and then started my beach walking and photo taking! (I have loads of free alone time you see! :P)

My sister was saying that I was lucky because the time we went last week was a good time to swim. There were not much sea weeds unlike during summer. So yeah. Haha. When I reached her workplace, I passed her my things and went swimming! But I was alone so yeah. A bit sad. =X

Oh, when I was walking alone, one guy mistook me for a foreigner. =X He was asking me to go for island tour and snorkeling and he was talking to me in English! LOL. I then pretended to be one and talked to him in English too. :P It was quite funny but I thought it was quite nice because he was really courteous and it shows how friendly they are. And he tried his best to speak in English. Haha. Quite funny. =S

After swimming, I went back to the hotel, washed up then waited for my sister to end work. We then walked around the shops and had dinner! :)

After the drinks, my sister got tired so we went back to the hotel and slept. Haha. Surprisingly, I slept early too! I guess I must have been tired from all the walking and swimming.

Day 2

Another reason why we wanted to sleep early was so that we can wake up early to swim before my sister heads on for work. However, when we woke up at 6am, it was dark outside and it seemed like it was going to rain. It did drizzle and we decided to just continue sleeping. LOL. Such pigs eh? :P

When my sister left for work, I continued sleeping and when I woke up, I watched TV again. Haha. Wasted my morning in the hotel room and my sister SMSed telling me that she wants to have lunch at the hotel. So she brought back food and we ate there instead. Haha.

After lunch, I sent her to her workplace and then went for my 2nd day of walking around the shore and exploring Boracay. But sadly, alone again. =X

After that, we walked around the bars and night spots but we had to take the main road because the waves already reached the shops so we had no way of walking by the shore. =S We just walked around because there weren't many people so we weren't really enticed on chilling out. =S We decided to go back to the hotel room, watch some shows and sleep! We already planned on waking up early the next day to take photos by hook or by crook. LOL.

Day 3

Woke up at 6 am and walked by the beach. It was still a bit dark (looked like it's going to rain) but we just went on as my sister wanted to take photos at the grotto. LOL.

My sister then prepared for work while I stayed at the hotel room watching Shrek The Third and Meet the Spartans on my laptop. LOL. I was too lazy to get out. =X I then met her for lunch and took photos with the sandcastle!

After lunch was the usual stuff, swam as long as I liked too get sunburnt. LOL. But still, I was not as tanned as I expected to be. =S After dinner, we walked around again (for the last time) and then packed our bags for our early flight the next day.

Day 4

I realised we did not take photos on this day. ROFL.

We woke up at 4am, left the hotel, went to the port and took the 1st boat ride back to Caticlan. The moon was still up. Haha. When we reached, we took a tricycle again to Caticlan Airport.

The airport was still closed when we reached. LOL. So we had to wait a while before we managed to check in. Had breakfast and waited for our flights. We took different flights again but this time, same airport to land at. Haha. I reached Manila earlier so I waited for her there. The NAIA Terminal 3 is not bad actually. =)

It was already 12noon when we reached our home in Lipa City, Batangas. Haha. It was truly a vacation. Although I did not do much, I still enjoyed it. I had a lot of alone time and emo-ing time. HAHAHAHA. Nah, not really emo-ing. More like, thinking. ;)

Anyway, this has been really long! I took sooooooooooo bloody long just to upload the photos. LOL. I wonder when I'm going to do another entry. But do stay tuned! Haha. =)
